In May 2024, I obtained my level 1 ECE from Saskpolytech, equipping me with knowledge of nutrition, safety guidelines, and health for children. The program emphasized the impact of social determinants on children's well-being and promoted holistic and cultural approaches to health. I also learned about different types of play and the educator's role in planning activities. I am currently pursuing an Autism Spectrum Disorder Certificate to further support children with special needs. With experience in various childcare settings and raising my own children, I have honed leadership skills and abilities in problem-solving, organization, time management, and communication. I am adaptable, creative, and possess a strong work ethic.
