Once my mom started her day home I realized how much I loved children and couldn't wait to take care of them by myself. As soon as I got my babysitting license I was then taking care of children during the weekends and some weeknights. The ages of the kids I have taken care of were from 6 months up to 7 years, and the most kids I have taken care of by myself was 3. On a normal babysitting shift I would try and take the kids for a walk and if there was a park close by we would go play at the park for a bit. Then we would walk back home and have a snack or a meal depending on the time of day it was. Then we would play all sorts of different games, read stories, and later if the kids were tired or wanting a bit of down time we would put a TV show or movie in. Sometimes depending on the age of the kids we would also bake something and or make some crafts. The reason I am so passionate about taking care of kids is because they bring joy to my eyes and put a smile on my face every single day. On those days that I am babysitting I will be even more excited about the day to start because I know that I will be getting to do something that I absolutely love to do. I also love how everyday there is something new and exciting.
