Hi there my name is Katie. I am a nurse who turned nanny due to wanting a change in pace. I am a very caring individual, who is outgoing and loves to build and maintain relationships! As the oldest child in a large family, caregiving is my second nature and I can assure you that I would be a great addition to your family! Although I lack previous experience in a nanny role, I assure you my combination of life and work experience along with my Early Childhood Education certification that I obtained in 2015 will make up for that in leaps and bounds. I love to sing, dance, and act silly with children however, with my formal childcare education also provided me with the understanding of the importance of working on developmental skills such as fine and gross motor skills as well as age appropriate activities. I love all animals; I've got 2 dogs of my own and my long term goal is to own a hobby farm with my partner! You can always catch me in the kitchen in my spare time, baking and cooking up a storm; I would LOVE to help you in the kitchen if that is something you find yourself needing a hand with! I am a very tidy person, and would love to extend that habit of mine into your home as well if you need.
