I recently worked a summer position at a local child care centre as a classroom assistant. In that position I was responsible for feeding the children, diapering/toileting the children, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all the children in my care. I have volunteered in the past as a day camp counselor for a local church, where I monitored the children eating their lunches, provided games and activities for the children to play/do, and on occasion swam with the children. I am a kind, compassionate, patient, and responsible kid-at-heart. Watching children learn something new, or hearing a child laugh warms my heart. Children are a bright light in a sometimes ugly world, and my main objective is to foster the growth of that light through kindness, compassion, and love. I will care for your children as though they are my own, and that's a promise.
