I have three years of experience in different types of child care, growing up at a young age I assisted in the care of my younger siblings when my mother needed help, and after graduation worked in a daycare as well as in family friends homes. I have experience with ages from 10 months to 10 years, duties during these times included but were not limited to, entertainment, organizing activities, cooking breakfast dinner or lunch, putting together healthy snacks with diet preferences in mind if you have them, caring for and supervising children up to groups of 5-12 at a time, cleanliness and organization of the house if needed, and creating a calm and positive atmosphere. I take pride in my ability to empathize and connect with people, I approach stressful situations in a calm and problem solving manner, and I’m easy to communicate with as well as appreciate criticism or guidance if need be.
