My experiences with babysitting started when I was around 11. I have babysat for many of my cousins, along with my youth pastor and his wife, and friends of family. These experiences have included me watching children ranging from infancy (starting from 6 months.) to around age 8. This has involved me cooking for children, putting them to bed, bringing children outside to play, feeding infants, engaging children in play, reading books, and crafts. I have had my fair share of dealing with difficulties during nap time, mealtime, bedtime, as well as squabbling siblings. I love looking after children because it is a joy to see how happy and carefree they are. It is so awesome to begin a relationship with a child to then see them grow, learn, and mature.
