Being a mom myself, I know how stressful it can be to find childcare when you either a)just need a break b) need to run errands or have an appointment c) want to have a date night or just simply have to much on your plate. While I work full time now, and have my own family - I am opening up my schedule once again. I maintain an environment promoting respect, manners, loving care, and well-being of children in my charge. I have helped with tutoring/homework, observing/following set guidelines, storytelling, promoting physical/mental development, promoting healthy eating, exercise and teaching basic cooking skills, dealing with illnesses, completing daily behavioral reports, planning day trips and activities. I also have experience with children who have physical and/or mental disabilities. I worked for the Town of Grimsby throughout school starting as an L.I.T., then lifeguard and worked my way up to Aquatic Supervisor and was constantly involved in programs year-round, as well as working in younger classrooms.
