My childcare experiences includes: babysitting my sister and cousins as a young teen. Currently I work in an emergency care home for children 0-12 years that come into care for a variety of reasons which may include difficult behavior, developmental delays and exceptionalities. In the home I am required to have first aid and non violent crisis intervention training. Care is based on a trauma informed approach. Duties include light house work, meal prep, engaging with children through crafts and activities, outings and helping with homework. I’m committed to making a positive difference in the lives of children in my care.
