As the oldest of 20 grandkids I have taken care of children for as long as I can remember. My first babysitting job was for my aunt and uncle where I babysat their six children. I have been a live-in nanny, ran my own dayhome, worked in a childcare centre and done respite care. I have two children ages five( boy) and a 9 year old girl that I homeschool. Due to homeschooling my children I require a position that allows for the ability to bring them with me. One of the things I think makes me special is my ability to teach life skills to children. This would include sewing, crocheting, cooking, and survival skills all age appropriate.
