Currently a University student I have extensive experience with children as my mom ran a daycare while I was growing up - I was helping out from the age of 7 all the way up until recently. I also am enrolled in the Education program at TRU with the hopes of getting into Montessori-type teaching of elementary school students. This past summer I was in Xi’an, China helping run and teach a summer camp for children aged 6-14 - so I would say I have some experience up my sleeve! As for my philosophies and beliefs when it comes to care giving, I think that an active lifestyle is extremely important for children growing up - so if you're the type of person to just plop your children in front of the tele then I'm sorry I'm not the sitter for you! I like going to the park, the beach, the climbing gym, etc. When I am not encouraging my young ones to get outside, I encourage them to foster their creativity with fun activities! LEGO, Crafts, drawing, etc. Additionally, I have a reliable car and a clean driver’s abstract.
