Hi there! I’m Jade, and I hold a diploma in Developmental Services Work, providing a solid foundation for supporting individuals of all ages with developmental and intellectual disabilities. I have extensive experience supervising infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children, both 1:1 and in groups, through independent babysitting and within an early learning organization. I enjoy planning engaging, developmentally appropriate activities and actively participating with children in their play and exploration. I believe in creating a safe space where children can learn and grow in ways that are unique to them. My approach is to adapt to each child’s needs and encourage them to guide their own learning and development. Alongside my hands-on experience, I’m an actively practicing Reiki practitioner, a certified yoga teacher, and a certified children’s yoga teacher. I also hold certifications in CPR-C and First Aid. These qualifications enable me to integrate a holistic approach to support, supporting each child’s well-being through mindful practices. My education and experience equip me to make a positive impact on the lives of the children I care for.
