The experience I have is both through personal and professional experience. Following high school I have degrees in both Developmental Services Work (Loyalist College - Belleville) and Mental Health & Addictions (CTS - North Bay), along with courses completed in both Child & Youth Work (St. Lawrence College), as well as, Early Childhood Education (Course focus on infants and toddlers at Loyalist College). Through my professional experience I have worked in a middle school with the special needs classes (grades 6-8) and an adult day school, group homes from aggressive/out of line teenage girls and adults with developmental disabilities. Each of these were fantastic work and growth times in my life 100%. Locally I have done work at People For Equal Partnership (PEP). Personally, I have in home looked after children (boys and girls) between the ages of 5 and 12 and done peer tutoring with remedial English grade 9 students. I have excellent communication skills, love to smile, and live with a very optimistic attitude about life.
