My experience over the years has grown both my skills and my love for children. I've spent four summers as a counsellor at overnight camps caring for the physical, mental and emotional needs of camper’s in ages ranging from 5 to 17. As well as many years volunteering in various community programs leading and planning activities for kids in elementary and middle school. I also completed a co-op term working at a daycare with newborn to 4 year olds where I learned many things including the importance of developmental growth in children. I love creativity and adventure and being a part in helping kids grow in these and many other characteristics. I believe that exploration, discovery and creativity are huge in helping children bloom into their full potential. When kids are in a positive, safe, and encouraging environment they can achieve anything they set their minds to.
