Hello there! My name is Genevieve, I am 27 years old, and I am currently attending Trent university in the Bachelor of Education program, working towards becoming an elementary school teacher. I graduated from Laurier University with a BA in the Honours Religion and Culture program. I have had multiple years of experience working as a nanny for different families and have provided homework assistance for children of varying ages. I have experience working as a supervisor at a summer camp and I have also worked in a group home, and school settings for youth and adults with developmental disabilities. In this role I provided personal care as well as life-learning and school assistance. I have spent 10 months over this past year teaching a grade 1 class virtually- creating and presenting lessons in math, language, science and social studies. I am very comfortable with teaching virtually, as well as in person and am proficient with google classroom.
