I have been in the child care field for about 10+ years professionally. I feel as though I always knew I would be working with children. Helping and watching young minds grow is something very fascinating to me. I love to be a part of the child's intellectual and emotional development. I have experience volunteering in elementary age classrooms for 3+ years now. My duties would range from filing papers, preparing work stations, assisting children during reading or writing, perform student evaluations, or doing class reading. My work experience has been with ages 6/7 and under. I have experience with newborns, infants, toddlers, preschool & primary school age, as well as twins. While caring for children as their nanny my duties would include but not limited to: diaper change, meal preparation, light household cleaning, assisting in play time, providing stimulating and educational games or work sheets, and out door activities.
