I have a heart for marginalized communities and also a love for caring and cultivating a fun space for children. My experience with children thus far includes babysitting on and off for the same family (3 children) and caring for infants at a homeless single mothers shelter. Additionally, I volunteered teaching children, ages 2-16, English at a local Refugee Center, along with this I have been designated babysitter for my nephew who will soon be seven. In High School, I received my pilot's license which taught me responsibility and understanding of the benefits of hard work. Who ever's home I am blessed to join I hope these characteristics come through, along with my sense for fun and joy as I get to know the children.
