Hi! My name is Felicity. I am an Early Childhood Education student in my 2nd year at George Brown College. I have completed 3 placements at childcare centres working with infants-school aged children, learning about children's development, needs, and skills and how to implement playbased learning. I am an empathetic and nurturing person, I value the well-being of children and their emotional needs and development. I worked with a family and their 8 mo boy for a year. Taking care of household needs like cleaning and sometimes helping cook dinner. I also did bath time when needed to make the parent's transition from work a bit easier. I would handle nap times and occasionally bedtime when the parents needed a night out! I also have experience with a family with 8yo, 4yo boys and a 14 mo girl who had multiple physical disabilities, I was mainly there for the toddler helping with her physio routines, play, and specific feeding requirements. I also stayed for overnights for the parents to get a little break. I like to crochet, get outside and enjoy cleaning! Im currently free after 3pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (depending on distance) and fully available on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
