Hello! I am Emma, an energetic, friendly and reliable Science and Commerce student at the University of Victoria. I am currently home (in Vancouver) for the entirety of the summer (until the end of August) and am seeking a position in childcare. I have been babysitting children ages 2-10 years old since 2014 after receiving my babysitting certificate. Many of the families that I babysat for had 2-3 children with pets. I am very comfortable around multiple children and am a lover of all animals. I have also worked with the Vancouver Aquarium as an AquaCamps leader. During this, I was responsible for looking after and educating children between the ages of 6-10. Ensuring their safety, as well as their utter enjoyment was the basis of my camp leader experience. Last summer I worked and volunteered for the non-profit organization, Athletics for Kids, where I helped them market their social media accounts so that they could gain more grants to put children coming from lower income families into sport programs. I love playing games, being creative, and getting outside with the children I babysit, these environments truly allow children to flourish.
