I have spent the last year or so on the west coast after graduating from Western University working in my field as an early career marine biologist. I was an intern with BC Wildlife Federation helping to youth workshops in conservation and restoration and participated in a 3 month placement with Parks Canada Southern Resident Killer Whale Conservation Project. I have recently moved back home to Niagara on the lake to be closer to family and friends and am looking to fill some time this spring and summer. I have always loved working with and inspiring youth and as such my experience in childcare is diverse. I previously worked at the Niagara Falls YMCA in childcare as well as at the Niagara on the Lake sailing club instructing sailing to youth. I have previously volunteered at Pathstone Mental health in childminding and volunteered at the children Hospital in London, Ontario. More recently, I was a teaching assistant at a forest school in Niagara, helping to foster a love for nature in young minds. I am a positive and energetic individual who loves working with kids!
