I am a graduate of the Child and Youth studies program at Brock University, and I also have my Primary/Junior Teaching Degree. I have been babysitting children from as young as 3 months old since I was 12. I have experience with all age groups, and have experience with up to 6 children at once. I have multiple references from the children I have cared for over the years. I also have experience dealing with children with ADHD, compulsive disorders, as well as other behavioural and violence related disorders. I have experience in both home care as well as a daycare setting, but prefer home care as the children receive more one-on-one attention. Some of my hobbies include reading, swimming, running, learning and dancing! I have taken multiple classes including; WHMIS, personal protection training, first aid and CPR + level C (intended for small children), and have a current clear police check. I am located in Huntsville. I am currently on mat leave with my son until September, but am considering part time daycare if someone is in need of care part time / has a flexible schedule. I will be returning to work but it will be scheduled in advance and very minimal hours.
