Hi Families, My name is Elise and I am a long time career nanny with lots of experience. I have been a babysitter since I was 12 years old, I took a placement in a grade 3 classroom when I was in high school, I studied Early Childhood Education in college where I worked in three different day care settings and I have been both a long and short term nanny for many families since completing my formal education. I have a passion for working with children and I take the work of nurturing the next generation seriously and joyfully. My approach is gentle and compassionate while also helping children to learn boundaries and express their needs. I’m an advocate for emotion coaching and helping children to name and connect with their big feelings. I am play based in my approach and value lots of outdoor time. I also spent many years as a trained lifeguard and swimming instructor so I know first aid and CPR. Seeking 4 days per week and open to nanny shares.
