Hello! My name is Demi. I moved to Mississauga from Singapore in 2014. I spent time teaching preschoolers at a reputable tuition centre in Singapore and I loved every minute of my job. I wish I didn't have to leave it, but I had to relocate with my husband who got into school/work here in Canada. I am a certified babysitter with a clean background. To me, interacting with children has got to be one of life's greatest joys. When I was teaching, I enjoyed challenging their simple but inquisitive minds. I learnt a lot while on the job - dealing with tantrum-throwing children; how to allow them to make their own decisions while under some restrictions set by me; reminding them to say their "please's" and "thank you's" no matter what; and how verbal encouragement can help a child's motivation and learning capabilities by leaps and bounds. When I get to know your kids a little better, I can introduce some worksheets to them that will stimulate their minds while I'm with them.
