My name is Debhina, and I am 22 years old. I am currently pursuing my PG diploma in Regina. I have extensive experience in childcare, both in India and Simcoe, Ontario. In my childcare role, I have taken care of Canadian siblings, a brother and sister aged 3 and 7, in Delhi, Ontario. My responsibilities included ensuring their safety, actively engaging them in various activities, preparing meals, assisting with household chores, giving them baths, getting them ready for school, and dropping them off in school. In Simcoe, Ontario, I cared for two Filipino brothers, aged 2.5 and 5, with the elder child being autistic. I provided personalized attention, designed activities to meet their individual needs, prepared meals, gave them baths, helped get them ready for school, and ensured a nurturing environment. Additionally, I accompanied the 2.5-year-old to swimming classes, helped him get ready for the class, and supported him during the sessions. I was also responsible for dropping them off in daycare and in bus, picking them up, and cooking their food. Through these experiences, I have honed my caregiving skills, patience, and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of children.
