I recently moved here from Alberta where I took some childcare courses while I worked. I love doing crafts and art with children, I think it's important to teach them with enthusiasm, kindness, understanding. And patience. I have experience working with children from 2 weeks old to 11 years. My last employment I took care of a disabled girl with a developmental delay. Some of my work duties included: ⦁ Planned and made nutritious meals ⦁ Cared for the client 24/7 for up to 2 weeks at a time allowing the parents to have a break/take a vacation ⦁ Performed light housekeeping duties including cooking, cleaning, and washing, laundry, changing linens ⦁ Did errands together such as shopping, and groceries ⦁ Updated parents on health care issues regarding hygiene, nutrition and emotional well being
