I am a fully registered, New Zealand trained primary teacher. I graduated in 2016 and spent two and a half years teaching intermediate aged students in Christchurch, New Zealand. I am passionate about working with young people and I have had the opportunity to engage with youth in a variety of contexts and work experiences. I have volunteered as a youth leader for support groups and camps, and as a day retreat facilitator for Catholic Secondary schools in the Christchurch diocese (2012 - 2014). I also volunteered for two months in Peru, where we provided aid and support for those living in poverty (2012). I have worked as a private nanny for multiple families (including families with twins and special needs), as an education tutor, and as a residential assistant for five years across two boarding schools. These variety of experiences have given me a strong understanding of educational pastoral care practices and a well rounded approach of how to support young people in their personal development, academic progress, and well-being.
