My name is Dana. I have a lot of experience with babysitting as I have babysat many children of varying ages (5 months to 10 years) and was also a live-in nanny for a year and an in-home respite provider for a teen with special needs for nearly two years. My duties as a live-in included laundry, cooking, housework, homework assistance, and entertaining. My experience with children with special needs include Dyslexia, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Downs Syndrome and Autism working in and out of the school system as a teacher's aide and day care provider. I have an Associate's Degree in Education and a conversational understanding of French and American Sign Language. I am very comfortable with all kinds of pets, and do not object to walking dogs, scooping cat litter, etc. I do have to note that I do not have a driving license so I would only be able to care for your child/ren in or near your home. I do have reliable transport, however I don’t have a car of my own and cannot drive.
