I am a very outgoing and loving individual. I enjoy being with children as I am very patient, and an easy-going person. I am the oldest of two younger siblings, a brother, and a sister, and growing up I would always watch them for my parents as they would be working. I never looked at it as a chore but always a passion. I achieved my second-degree black belt in Martial arts Karate, and by doing so I volunteered every day with the youth from ages 5-16 helping them and teaching them the skills of karate. During the summers, I would volunteer with the children's summer camps where they would have activities, and I would help organize, as well be with the children. For my grade 12 co-op, I was an assistant teacher in a kindergarten class, where I spent months with children, helping them get ready for recess, helping them with their homework, preparing for snack time, and also spending time with them. I really enjoyed my time being there and made life long memories. The babysitting experience I have is caring for a 1-year-old baby. I would feed her, change her diaper, as well as take her on walks every day. I have a lot of experience with children and I hope to have more.
