I am passionate about early learning and child development and have dedicated the last 20 years of my life to the field early childhood education. I hold both a diploma (George Brown College) and bachelors degree (Ryerson University) in ECE as well as certification as a Forest School Practitioner (Forest School Canada/Child and Nature Alliance Canada). I have worked in traditional non-profit licensed childcare centres for the past 15 years + and aim to recreate a similar care model with drastically reduced teacher child ratios in my own home. By combining the most beneficial aspects of nanny care (1:1 or 1:2 care ratio, home learning environment, responsive and attuned care giver) with an early learning environment (think nursery school/Montessori) that strives to educate the whole child, my care model is very much a unique offering. I'm searching for one or two special families who resonant with small group learning in a home-care environment.
