I've grown up helping take care of children and I absolutely love it. I have 2 years prior "official" experience but have had my babysitting license and done casual jobs for 4 years. I've taken the red cross babysitting course and basic CPR training through my school's physical education program. I've had my current job for almost a year, I help a family with 4 children (ages 1-7) take care of the kids and do basic housekeeping. I also occasionally babysit for a family with a 10 month old. I am returning to school full time in the fall and am looking for hours that will work around my school schedule and allow me a consistent income to cover insurance costs for my car.
