Hello Parents! My name is Carmen and I am looking for a live-out nannying position for summer 2021. I currently work for the Child Care and Learning Centre at the University of Guelph as an Office Assistant to Chantelle Woods during the school year. In an environment full of busy, (usually!) cheerful, energetic children, I feel at home and immensely happy. Staff are trained to get down on their level and engage their interests and little joys however small they may be, and overall treating them like the complex, unique little human beings they are. As someone from a big family, I've grown up my entire life surrounded by my wonderful siblings. When it comes to bedtime routines, meal prep, activities, and housekeeping, I feel completely at home and capable. I love animals and the outdoors and believe childhood is all about making moments into memories- whether it be playing a game or making dinner together.
