I am in my third semester of the Early Childhood Education program at Fanshawe College, working towards a diploma. I am knowledgeable on a variety of topics through the courses. At Fellowship Church I have volunteered in a variety of positions, including assisting classroom teachers, helping in the nursery during church services and events and I have been a counselor during summer camps. I have provided before and after school care for children at various elementary schools within the TVDSB. This includes general supervision, snack preparation and assisting in the drop-off and pick-up by parents. Currently I am employed as an assistant educator in the Toddler and Preschool Rooms at the ELC Aylmer location. This includes planning activities, serving meals, diapering and all the duties that are associated with providing childcare. I have great decision making and communication skills. CPR and First Aid Certified, Canadian Red Cross. Current Vulnerable Sector Check. I am hardworking and dedicated. An organized student who is reliable and flexible. I am excited to be working with children, and to begin my career working with children as a Registered Early Childhood Educator.
