I completed my undergraduate degree with honors specialization in Child and Family Studies with a minor in French. I grew up in Ottawa, but have been living in North Bay since my first year at Nipissing. Some of my hobbies include skiing, reading, dance, and spending time outdoors. I have worked for the City of Ottawa as a camp coordinator and have also been a dance instructor since 2015. I have extensive experience with primary-aged children but have worked with children up to 12 years old. This past summer, I worked through the challenges that COVID-19 has brought forth for the program. This took a lot of extra planning, diligence, and most importantly, creativity! I believe that I could do the same with your children, I could come up with themes for the week with them and we could have special activities and crafts to do each week. Additionally, I am very open to tutoring as well. I would love to have the opportunity to tutor, I am bilingual in English and French. I am responsible, hardworking, outgoing, organized, and trustworthy. Being a nanny and caring for children would be my dream job and I would be so fortunate to have this experience.
