I have worked with children my entire life, including at an overnight summer camp for a wide range of ages (4-16) for 5 summers consecutively. Additionally I have worked a nanny for multiple families with children aged 1-4 for two years and most recently was in charge of running an entire summer camp! At Rideau Hill Summer Camp I was responsible for the organization, care and supervision of children and their daily activities. I was also responsible for making sure we were punctual and following a set schedule throughout the day. As a nanny I carried out many responsibilities such as organizing and carrying out excursions for the children as well as preparing meals and light house cleaning. At Champions Gymnastics summer camp I was director, and planned and supervised daily activities and schedules for up to 75 children. I am currently coaching recreational gymnastics full time with ages 2-14. I have worked with children for almost my entire life and am looking for a good fit for me to do some more private childcare, as I enjoy it the most. My approach is focused upon meeting both the physical and emotional needs while providing a safe, fun and nurturing environment for the child to thrive and learn in.
