Hey all! My name is Beth and I am originally from Ireland. I do have a 9-5 job but would love to fill some of my evenings and weekends working with children. I have spent years working as an au pair in Sweden, Italy and Spain. I then moved to Barcelona to teach English full time to children of various ages. Finally, I have spent 6 summers working as a camp counsellor in Montreal, most recently running a unit of children aged 5-10 years old this past summer. Overall, I have worked with children aged 1- 17 years old. When I am babysitting or taking care of children, I love to create a fun, energetic and productive environment (no screens preferred!). If you are looking for someone to help your child use their imagination, creativity or maybe even develop their english- I am your girl! Overall, my approach to childcare revolves around creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can thrive. I prioritise not only their physical care but also their emotional and cognitive growth through educational activities, creative play, and fostering a supportive atmosphere.
