Hi! My name is Aurora. I'm 24 years old and have always loved children. I have experience working as a summer camp counsellor, have babysat all through my teen years, and have worked as a nanny for friends and family in my early 20s. I also have experience working with children with special needs and it is with children with special needs that my heart really soars. I am a registered Emergency Medical Responder which means I have CPR and First Aid training and more. I cook, clean and I don't believe in entertaining kids with television. I love to do crafts and play dress up and make believe and I take quite a hands on approach with children. I also have experience tutoring children elementary - junior high level Mathematics, French Immersion and Sciences. I don't smoke or drink and I engage in a healthy lifestyle myself, so I like to pass my knowledge of health onto kids in fun ways. I am taking some time off before returning to school next year for my Bachelor of Social Work and am very eager to spend this year with children.
