I currently work as an education assistant at a private elementary school with children with special needs. The twin girls I work with are in grade three. I have been working as an EA for almost two years. I also have experience working as a behaviour interventionist for 2.5 years. I worked with children ages 2-6 who were on the autism spectrum. I also have experience working in summer camps with children ages 5-12. As a teenager I used to do babysitting for three families with children ageing from 2-12. I love working with children and would consider my childcare style as being fun yet firm. I work full-time during weekdays from 8:30-3 as an EA so my availability would be for evenings and weekends. My schedule runs as your typical school schedule so my availability opens up during holidays and breaks as I have that time off (i.e. Christmas/spring/summer break).
