Hi, I’m Andrea! I have been working as an elementary school teacher for the past 10 years, with two years off for maternity leave. I live in central Tsawwassen with my husband, four year old son, and one year old daughter. My husband works in law enforcement. I am looking to provide childcare out of my townhouse for the summer. I’m considering continuing this in the fall if we find a good fit. I am passionate about environmentalism and the outdoors. With my own kiddos, we spend as much time outside as possible, rain or shine. We will be spending the summer rotating between parks in South Delta. I guarantee you, your kid will be coming home smelling of sunscreen, dirty, and tired. I raise my kids with compassionate, gentle-parenting with an emphasis on teaching rather than punishing. My priorities are raising assertive and empathetic humans who are comfortable maintaining boundaries that keep them safe and happy. I’m available weekdays, 7am - 6pm. My rate is $40/hour for one child or $55/hour for two siblings. Age range 3-8 years. Minimum 15 hours per week, paid on the Monday. I can also provide snacks and meals for an additional $15/day, or you can pack them.
