I have always loved being around and caring for children, since I was a child myself! Spending my teenage years babysitting for family friends and neighbours, and, after graduating high school, I went on to obtain my Educational Assistant Degree/Early Childhood Education Level 1 certificate at SIAST. I have been working in childcare for the past 4 years. I began as a nanny, and then worked as an aide to children with special needs in a daycare centre, which eventually led to running the toddler room in the daycare, working primarily with children 18 months - 3 years. Childcare is something that I am very passionate about. I believe that who children spend time with has a huge influence on their development, and there is nothing I want more than to continue to play a positive role in a child's life. I have experience with all age groups, valid CPR and First Aid, can provide a clear criminal record check, and am looking to find part-time work during the week.
