I'm the kind of parent that other people in public are compelled to thank for raising polite, thoughtful, and caring children. Children respect me because I show them respect, and they respect my boundaries because I set them, and enforce them. I speak to kids on their own level and make sure they understand. It's only fair, I would want others to do the same for me.
