Most of my babysitting experience took place between 2008-2012 when I was in elementary school/high school. I babysat for two main families, two with two kids, and one with four kids. I absolutely loved my job, but I needed to find a job that provided more hours and pay so I could start saving my money for University. During university I worked as a PSW With both kids (at The Darling Home for Kids) and the elderly in a retirement home and in the hospital. I also had various clinical placements within different units such as medicine, surgery, maternity, trauma, and pediatrics. I believe my experience as a babysitter in the past, coupled with my experience as a PSW, student nurse, and currently a Registered Nurse makes me an excellent candidate for any childcare job.
