I have a bundle of experience with kids, mostly because I have two younger siblings that I've been babysitting on and off for about 10 years now. One is six years younger than me and the other 10 years younger than me. I was also in a teaching program at Laurentian University for three years - I had two placements with children, the first one being in a vocal class for children aged 6-14. The second placement was a one-on-one tutoring/coaching job with a student who was in grade six and also had a learning disability, so I have experience working with children with special needs. I'm a very optimism-driven person. I believe that it's the only way to get through life, so I will definitely bring that kind of attitude into your household. I'm a very outgoing person, and I'm also very empathetic. I can easily relate to others, as well as easily adapt to scary situations and get them under control.
