Hello, my name is Abby. I am a 23 year old student who just finished my 5th year of the elementary teacher's education stream at Trent University in Peterborough, ON. I am a now looking to provide childcare in Ottawa, ON area. I am a non-smoker who is CPR and First Aid certified and have a recent Vulnerable Sector Check on file. I have 2 younger siblings, along with many family members and friends who I have been babysitting for since I was 10 years old. (I was about 12 years old when I completed my babysitting course at the YMCA.) I teach as an unqualified supply teacher when I'm available, occasionally teach dance choreography to children aged 15 and under at local companies and have worked as a summer camp counsellor. I have a private, in-home childcare program with a few full-time (and possible part-time) spots available starting in June.
