My name is Abbey, I am 19 years old and I am a Life Sciences student at Queen’s University (home for the summer). I have been a babysitter for a little bit more than three years and I have also been a camp counsellor for three years. As a babysitter, I have cared for children from just a couple months old to 10 years old and as a camp counsellor have worked with kids ages 4-12. I absolutely love working with kids because they are so fun and energetic. Generally, my skills include good communication, patience, creativity, maintaining a positive attitude, and being kind and personable with everyone. My child care can include virtually anything - from playing to homework to cooking/cleaning to bedtime - I am happy to do anything! Eventually I would love a career where I can work with kids. Some of my personal interests include spending time outside, singing/playing music, reading, baking and being with my friends and family.
