| Hi, My name is Mackenzie. I am an OCT qualified teacher on maternity leave. I have been hired by two school boards in the Ottawa region. I currently have a 7 month old son and have decided to open up my home in the Rockland area to provide part-time/before and after school care. As an educator and a mom, I strive to create an environment where children can interact, play, learn and develop a growth mindset. I am passionate about nature based learning and encourage children to connect to the world through an outdoor and hands-on experiences. With weather permitting, we will be outside as much as possible, by going for walks or to the local park.
