My name is Lauren, I am 23, and live in Merigomish.
2 summers ago I got hired on at a licensed daycare in stellarton as a summer student, which made me decide to go to school to become as Early Childhood Educator. I've done two out of 4 placements with said daycare and also worked from April- September 2019 there full time before returning to school, then doing my second placement with them in October/November 2019.
3 summers ago I worked as a recreation leader at my community centre with 30+ kids signed up, the youngest being 5 and the oldest 13. Had to organize activities to do daily, Monday to Friday.
I have lots of experience with younger children. From morning routines, to night time routines, I've done it all.
In ####/#### I worked with a family of 3 children, aged 1,3, & 7 for almost a year. I worked Monday to Friday, I got them dressed, made breakfast, lunch, snacks. Did laundry, dishes, sweeping, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming bedrooms, etc. I went for walks with the kids, and played outside, did a lot of fun activities. Went to the library, and to the local parks.
I am currently working full time at a licensed center but wanting to get back into being a 'nanny/ full-time sitter.
