Nannies in Mahone Bay

| I have watched young children since the age of 12. I love working with kids and making sure they make good choices and are supervised at all times.

| Babysitting was my very first job in my small town of Mahone Bay. I enjoyed it immensely! I cooked, fed, cleaned, played, put to bed, and would walk the kids to the community pool during my time with them! I have been a lifeguard for 5 years and am now a personal trainer with CPR & AED still. I also taught swimming lessons/lifeguarded at the LCLC during my high school years. I coached soccer at HB studios for 2 years. I have looked after a 6 month old baby along with his brother who was 4. I have also looked after 2 sisters under the ages of 10. I have also been a nanny for a very close family friends daughter. She has down syndrome and cannot speak. For a whole summer I was able to help her stay active, eat well and have fun. I also know some sign language from my 12+ years of knowing her! I was valedictorian in junior high, and salutatorian in high school, and would love to help with homework if needed! I am finished school in Ontario at Queen’s university and coming home to save money, be with family and plan my next steps! I would love to help you and your family in any way possible!

In my most recent nannying position I cared for two affectionate, intelligent 3 year old twin girls and their loving 7 year old sister, 5 days a week, Monday-Friday. I helped the oldest get ready for school, got her on the bus and received her when she returned home. We prepped dinner together each afternoon while the twins napped, playing games, telling stories and doing homework. Each morning I arrived I’d cook the twins breakfast, fed them, taught them table manners and cleaned up after them. We played with toys, read books, went on long walks, did arts and crafts and made lunch together. We even went on road trips to parks or museums. Every afternoon before the bus came I was in charge of prepping them for nap time and getting them safely to sleep. I love this line of work and I look forward to the next family I join.
