| Dear Family, It's a pleasure to meet you! My name is Paola (she/her), and I live in Itabira, a small town in Minas Gerais, Brazil. I'm single and live with my mom, brother, and stepfather. I don't smoke or drink. I enjoy traveling and love nature, especially waterfalls. I'm responsible, polite, kind, funny, and smart. I love sports, reading, teaching, learning, and animals. I’d love to live in a warm, welcoming home where people enjoy quality time together. I’ve been working with kids since I was 15, and I know this is my lifelong passion. I started by helping two children with homework for four months. Then I worked as a nanny and tutor for another two kids for a year before joining Maple Bear. I’m currently a Teacher Assistant at Maple Bear, a Canadian school, where I’ve been working full-time for over a year, speaking only English with my students. I’m studying Pedagogy at Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais and taking courses to improve my English and learn about bilingual education, a topic I'm passionate about.
