| As shared above I have over 5 years of experience caring for youth. My experience began when I was 12 years old when my family grew and welcomed the twins. Throughout my teenage years I babysat for numerous families and after highschool I attended college for Police Foundations. While in college I was hired by the local police service and ran after school programs, community events and led other youth initiatives. After college I took on more of a role, I ran two separate afterschool programs and day time programming for parents anand young children. I find this work is my true passion and found it very rewarding. I enjoy working on small projects with children and try to make each day exciting! I enjoy doing arts and crafts and love being outside. I have also been qualified on an online tutoring program so I have different resources I can utilize. I left my last position because of new management but really enjoyed the work and would love to get back to my real passion.

| I have a 7 year old son of my own, so I am pretty experienced from newborn to his age now, I am the type of person who likes to make "chores" or homework fun, but important...anything to teach responsibility, I am big with communicating, talking about a problem or solution rather than scolding I have found to be way more successful.

| I am a mom of 2 grown boys ( 22 & 18) my youngest just started College and my oldest is out on his own now . I absolutely love kids . My niece in Quebec has 6 little ones and I take them as much as I can to help her out . I love cooking and most say I am good at it . I always keep my home nice , clean and tidy. My husband and I have 3 cats plus my youngest son's while he is in College. I guess its safe to say , we are animal lovers .
