| I am a student at UBCO studying geography and environmental science for my future Elementary School Teacher career. I have over 10 years experience in child care, 10 of which include babysitting all ages from newborn to 12 years. I have provided private childcare for 2 families in Kelowna, one little girl 1.5 years old, and another family of 2 boys aged 1.5 and 5 years old. In these roles I engaged in enriching activities with the children including outdoor play, painting, crafts, music, learning the ABC’s, counting numbers and learning first words. In 2021 at Block 8 Academy in Port Moody, B.C., I was a lead teacher in a classroom of 14 children in before & after school care, summer/spring/winter break camps as well. I have a passion for teaching, leading and getting creative with the children in my care.
