Babysitters in Tofino

| I have over eight years of babysitting and nanny experience, and have worked with multiple families throughout Victoria. I am currently in my third year in the BeD program (Bachelor of Education), and therefore have had my first practicum in and Elementary school this past May. I would love to find a position throughout the winter break that is part time, which may be able to continue into the new year.

I have several years of experience with children including; babysitting, daycare assistance, Montessori school assistance, music teaching, live-in and live-out nanny, as well as having first-hand experience from a young age helping raise my three younger siblings. I am comfortably experienced caring for children of all ages; from newborn, onward. I usually offer music lessons regardless of the age and am athletic and studious. I extend my knowledge to children to enhance their understanding and capabilities in all aspects; school work, social interactions, physical education, healthy living and eating, nature interactions and more. I am passionate in caring for children because of my nature in caring for them naturally, as I was brought up, and take an interest in the continuous growth of others. | Over the past eight years, I have worked closely with children of all ages as a baby sitter, out of school care leader, summer camp leader, swim instructor and coach, both privately and with recreation centres in Victoria, BC. I have consistently demonstrated the ability to maintain a safe, fun and educational environment with the children I work with. I am currently a student athlete at the University of Victoria, studying Elementary Education. I am hoping to spend my summer months off of school, working in Tofino. Hourly rate negotiable. | My name is Luana, my work experience is three years with the same family, I take care of two children whom I love very much. Apart from my experience as an aunt, and caregiver of the children of my friends. | I have spent 5 years working at Evans Lake Forest Education Society in Squamish BC, a sleep away camp, working extensively with kids ages 8 to 16. I have worked directly supervising children as a cabin leader, responsible for heath, safety, and happiness for 10 kids at a time, as well as an instructor, where I was more responsible for the education side of things. The education I was responsible was from teaching environmental education and outdoor skills, to discussing bullying with children, as well as training new staff how to best deal with every day situations such as homesickness, or conflict between multiple children. I am also a trained lifeguard with first aid.
